Cortina Azul is an ongoing photographic series exploring the creation of the female body and the expulsion from the Garden of Eden through the biblical narrative of Abrahamic religions. According to the book of Genesis, Eve is created from one of Adam's ribs, except in Cortina Azul Eve is created from one of the stems of a Monstera Deliciosa—a tropical plant native to central America, which in spanish is called "Costilla de Adán" (Adam's Rib).
